Team iMMERSIVE was delighted to co-host the Built Environment Summit 2024 alongside our friends at Salesforce, an event that showcased the latest innovations enabling businesses to evolve faster than ever. Over 100 guests joined us to explore the transformative impact of AI and Salesforce’s Agentforce within the Built Environment sector.


Built Environment Industry Viewpoint

The summit commenced with Yalda Gerami the Regional Vice President of Built Environment Industries at Salesforce. She delivered a forward-looking presentation focused on the future developments, growth trajectories, and strategic priorities of the industry.

Yalda outlined the major trends currently reshaping the Built Environment sector, including:

  • Ongoing supply chain disruption

  • Rising demand for efficiency and innovation

  • Increasing customer expectations

  • A stronger emphasis on measurable sustainability initiatives

  • The expanding influence of AI as a transformative force across business functions

 

She explained how Salesforce is evolving in step with these trends—particularly through innovations in AI and Agentforce—thereby empowering organisations with agile, intelligent, and future-ready solutions.


The Value of AI in Built Environment

Next up, Richard Boon, the Vice President of Solution Engineering at Salesforce, shared how AI Agents empower collaborative success. He explained how collaboration drives a diverse range of businesses to connect with their customers in entirely new ways.

Richard highlighted how Agentforce tackles workforce challenges, such as low-value tasks, stalled productivity, capacity limitations, and burnout – all while transforming the customer experience through:

  • Highly personalised and empathetic service

This ensures customer success on every occasion. Guests were also introduced to the diverse suite of AI Agents provided by Salesforce, including:

  • Commerce Agents – giving shoppers a VIP experience with a private concierge

Salesforce Customer Stories

A highlight of the event was a fireside chat led by Salesforce customers, John Foster from Wates Group and Alton Hassan from Battersea Power Station. Both speakers gave their candid insights into how Salesforce has revolutionised their businesses through the enhancement of customer experience. Both discussed in detail how Salesforce empowered their teams through reliable data, streamlining the customer journey as well as enhancing overall operational efficiency.


Transforming Field Service and Bid Management with AI

Guests took part in two engaging breakout sessions led by experts from iMMERSIVE and Salesforce:

  • Field Services & Asset Management
    Led by Ed Jones (iMMERSIVE) and Matt Wright (Salesforce), the session explored how AI Agents are transforming field operations and asset tracking. The discussion highlighted the integration of intelligent automation to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve visibility across asset lifecycles.
  • Bid Management
    Simon Clarke (iMMERSIVE), Stuart Prince, and Gurbinder Nijor (Salesforce) led an engaging session showcasing how Agentforce is streamlining the entire bid management process. From lead identification to post-submission strategy, the session demonstrated how AI-driven tools are improving speed, accuracy, and win rates.
    A key highlight was the opportunity for attendees to engage directly with specialists from iMMERSIVE and Salesforce, diving into real-world use cases and uncovering tailored solutions to their unique business challenges.

 

Enhancing Salesforce Transformation

The summit was concluded by iMMERSIVE’s Abi Chan, Chief Revenue Officer, Rachel Krzeminski, Head of People and Change, and Simon Clarke, Head of AI and Accelerators.

Abi kicked things off by sharing insights and strategic advice on achieving true “project readiness”, Simon then introduced iMMMERSIVE’s Catalyst™ Accelerators our proprietary tools designed to make Salesforce adoption faster, simpler, and more cost-effective. The Catalysts are modular enabling then to align with industry-standard processes and frameworks.

Finally, Rachel shared insights on scaling efficiently in today’s competitive landscape, highlighting iMMERSIVE Change™—a solution designed to support customers with change management, from communications to training, for seamless adoption and success.


Accelerating Your Salesforce Journey

Matthew Westwood, Managing Director of Cora Homes, shared first-hand insights into their experience with our Accelerator products. Matthew detailed how the tools were successfully deployed across multiple projects semleasly integrating Salesforce technology into Cora Homes work flow. Initially the Accelerator’s were used to implement a sales solution used by both internal and external sales teams, and subsequently to enhance the customer care function for new homeowners.

In both instances, Matthew emphasised how iMMERSIVE’s Accelerators significantly reduced implementation time and simplified the overall process.
